Open Laminar and type a one-line description of the feature you're building — what it does, who it's for, and why it matters. Developer Setup

Give your coding agent live access to every PRD.

Laminar exposes an MCP server that any compatible coding agent can connect to. Once connected, tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code can pull the current feature spec, approved PRD, and related docs directly into context — no copy-pasting, no stale prompts. Your agent always builds against the live, approved requirements.

Tip:Ask your coding agent 'what does the Search feature require?' after connecting — it answers from the live PRD, not its training data.

Stay In Sync

Merged PRs are linked to your features automatically.

When a PR merges to main, Laminar attributes the code change to related features and PRDs — no manual tagging required. To see what may have drifted, open any feature and go to the Reconciliation tab. Laminar computes a freshness score on demand, showing you exactly which specs are still accurate and which sections need a review.

Tip:Connect your GitHub repo once in Settings → Integrations. After that, every merged PR is automatically attributed to the relevant features in your workspace.

Lifecycle

Move the PRD from draft to live — then update your docs.

Laminar tracks every PRD through a structured lifecycle: draft (private, AI-editable) → in review (stakeholders comment and approve) → approved → staged (tied to a planned release) → live (the canonical source of truth for the shipped feature). Each transition is one click. Once a PRD is live, hit 'Update docs' to push the approved content to your developer portal and make it immediately available to every AI tool connected to your knowledge base.

Tip:Don't skip the 'Update docs' step after going live — that's what syncs the approved PRD to the developer portal and surfaces it via MCP to your coding agents.
